About Royston
Royston has been a professional magician for over 45 years. He has performed in front of audiences from small private parties, schools, playgroups and shopping centres etc. to clients who include Northampton Borough Council, Barclaycard, Argos and Chessington World of Adventures, amongst very many others.
After touring successfully around the country for many years with his own family magic show which featured illusions, cartoon characters, living marionettes and a costumed chinese act, in 1990 Royston and his wife acquired the hugely popular Care Bears Magic Show. He then co-produced and fronted the show in various forms for the next 15 years, regularly selling out major theatres the length and breadth of the UK as well as on the Isle of man, Guernsey, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The show also appeared at many outdoor events including a special appearance at Pinewood Studios for the Variety Club Summer BBQ.
Now based in Northampton, Northamptonshire, Royston is regularly booked to entertain at private functions, weddings and is the perfect choice for your child's birthday party.
Royston is an Associate of the Inner Magic Circle with Silver Star; a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, past President, Secretary and until recently was Honorary Life Vice President of the Northamptonshire Magicians Club and a member of Equity. In addition Royston has appeared in sell-out shows in most major theatres throughout the country.
